How did the movement challenge your creativity? What happened in the past in which you may have chosen to be a dancer or not? Can you relate to the beat?

"Burlesque" was one of my favorite movies back then, though it had been a long time since I last watched this part of the film. Looking at the movements, few were simple and the majority were intricate and required considerable flexibility. Performing these movements demands a large space, as they cannot be effectively executed in a confined area. It's surprising to see men dancing to the song "Show Me How You Burlesque." At the part where it says: "Okay girls, let's show them how it's done. It ain't over 'til we say And we’ve only just begun," the male dancers came out to perform and joined the female dancers. The female dancers showcased elegance and sensuality, while the male dancers maintained their masculinity, despite the song being performed by a woman.

Who would have thought it was such a great collaboration between male and female dancers? The creativity is evident. The person who conceptualized the dance number is brilliant for incorporating male dancers on stage. We shouldn't limit ourselves to the idea that certain songs are only suitable for male or female dancers.

Dancing is genderless. Dancing is powerful. Dancing is for everyone.

When I was younger, I only danced when it was required by the teacher, and I never pursued dancing professionally. The commitment required a substantial amount of time and effort, which I couldn't afford while helping with my family's business. Dancing was not a priority for me at that time. It was only later that I realized the importance of movement; one should move, and dancing is one way to do so. Nowadays, I enjoy dancing in my room secretly (insert  "Salamin" by Bini).

Given the tempo of the music, it was exceptionally fast, especially for someone with limited experience in dancing, such as myself. I found it challenging to match the pace and rhythm of the steps. Faced with this difficulty, I began to consider an alternative approach: rather than attempting to replicate predefined dance moves, I contemplated the possibility of improvising and creating my own choreography. This strategy would involve crafting movements that naturally complement the beat of the music, allowing me to dance more comfortably and authentically. By synchronizing my own unique steps with the rhythm, I could potentially enhance my enjoyment of dancing and overcome the initial struggle of keeping up with a faster tempo.
